One Supplier - Three Specialisms



When Warwickshire County Cricket Club built their new Indoor Cricket School at the County Ground in Edgbaston they had three absolutely crucial specialist requirements: the synthetic grass they were to play on, the tensioned netting within which six-a-side games could be played, and the retractable netting used when practicing and teaching. All this had to be suitable for teaching beginners and for county and national teams to practice. [Continues]


GYM-TECH goes High Tech



GYM -TECH is now set for a high tech future with it's new on-line product guide. All the main areas of manufacture are now listed and each has a covering page (click on the links to the left) showing background information on those products.

Sales manager Ian White explained that presently, only the Yoga Products area is fully set up for online browsing and purchasing, but each area is being populated on an on-going basis, and this will be high-lighted on the home page as it happens. [Continues]


National Trampoline Championships



It was a proud day when GYM -TECH was asked to provide all the equipment for the National Grade B Trampoline Championships held at Manchester University's prestigious Armitage Centre. As well as eight GT DINamic Trampolines, the company was able to supply a host of ancillary items including the Winners Podium. [Continues]


Floating on Air



Tasker Millward School in South Wales needed to build a Sports Hall on a strict budget, but the sports development department also required a specialist Tennis facility. The budgetary constraint was solved by using Binghams, a Dutch company, to build one of their cost-effective Air Domes to cover two Tennis courts and one Basketball court area, but this left the problem of how to fix Cricket Nets and Dividing Curtain to a building with no solid structure. A second concern was that of smoothly linking the Tennis playing surface to the multi-sports surface. [Continues]
