Gym-Tech manufacture a full range of accessories for sports trampolines. Statistics show that the majority of trampolining accidents & injuries are caused by the user falling off one end of the trampoline. Spotting end decks help to prevent injuries by adding an extended soft landing area at each end of the trampoline. Spotting end decks comprise a wedge shaped safety mat & a frame. The mat is placed on the edge of the trampoline end and the frame is placed underneath the mat to support it. If the user falls towards either end of the trampoline they will land on the end decks, reducing the risk of injury. End decks can be used for all levels of trampolining, from practice & training to competition use. When not in use the frames can be folded or dismantled for storage. They are supplied in pairs complete with mats & frames, and are available in three types:

Rigid spotting decks Slot together steel frame with elasticated mat supports. 2.4m x 1.37m x 200mm mats. Suitable for Regulation 77A trampolines (or similar). Can also be modified to suit Grasshopper & Junior models (at additional cost). Supplied in pairs, comprising two frames & two mats. Standard spotting decks Steel folding, wheelaway frame with steel mat supports. 2.4m x 1.5m x 200mm mats. Suitable for Goliath & Regulation 77A trampolines (or similar). Supplied in pairs, comprising two frames & two mats. Competition spotting decks Steel folding, wheelaway frames with spring assisted mat supports. 3m x 2m x 200mm mats. Suitable for Dinamite, Dinamic & Goliath trampolines (or similar). Supplied in pairs, comprising two frames & two mats. The above decks will also fit most other similar models of other makes of trampoline. Dividing mats Trampoline dividing mats are placed between two trampolines of the same height when situated end to end. They are used in place of spotting decks, saving cost & space. The mats feature a double wedged design and are available in two sizes: a standard size for general use with Regulation 77A trampolines, and a larger size for competition use. The competition size mat also requires a support deck.

Spotter mats Spotter mats are used in case of accident during competitions. They are pushed in from the side to help prevent injury if the performer is about to fall awkwardly. The mats have a foam inner with a PVC cover and carry handles. They are smaller & lighter than push on mats, and should only be used for competition, and not for teaching. Surround mats Surround mats are laid on the floor around the trampoline to provide safety from falls off the equipment. The mats need to be soft enough to protect from falls, yet firm enough to stand and walk on, and should extend 2 metres beyond the trampoline & spotting decks. The FIG (Federation Internationale Gymnastique) specify that the mats should be 200mm in depth for International Competitions, while British Gymnastics recommend a minimum of 20mm thick for National Competitions. Gym-Tech offer surround mats with velcro linked edges in either 30, 40 or 50mm thicknesses to exceed British Gymnastics recommendations, plus a 200mm thick mat to meet FIG requirements. Roller stands Roller stands are designed to ease the manual handling of trampolines. The folder trampoline is lifted onto the stands, and can then be wheeled away rather than lifted & carried. The stands are supplied in pairs comprising steel uprights with support hooks for the trampolines, and steel cross sections with castors at each end. Roller stands are available for Gym-Tech Grasshopper, Junior & 77A trampolines, as well as similar models of other trampoline makes. Trolley lifter Trolley lifters are designed to reduce the heavy lifting associated with erecting & dismantling trampolines. When unfolding the trampoline the lifter is used to raise the trampoline in order to remove the roller stands. When folding, the lifter is used to raise a leg of the trampoline so the roller stands can be inserted. Only one lifter is required for any number of trampolines. Trampoline protective covers Protective covers designed to protect trampolines from dust & dirt when not in use. The covers are made from PVC, and fit over the trampoline after it has been folded. Available to suit all Gym-Tech models of trampoline, as well as equivalent models of other makes of trampoline.
