Rebound Therapy equipment Gym-Tech specialise in a full range of trampolines & accessories suitable for rebound therapy & physiotherapy. Rebound therapy is a phrase used to describe the use of trampolining as a therapeutic exercise & recreation for people with special needs. Trampolines are also used for physiotherapy to aid patient recovery. The smaller Grasshopper & Junior trampolines, exclusively manufactured by Gym-tech, are ideal for rebound therapy for younger uses or for people with more severe disabilities. The larger Regulation 77A trampoline is better suited to older children & adults. A choice of trampoline beds are available, with the PowerMesh being the most popular. It offers good control & slightly reduced bounce, plus has the advantage of being washable. We also supply a full range of accessories such as padded steps, mobile hoists and safety mats. Regulation 77A Trampoline The 77A is the most popular trampoline for rebound therapy. The trampolines size makes it suitable for a variety ages and abilities. The 77A has a 1 metre high 'Flashfold' folding steel frame, 100 elastic or steel springs, foam filled pvc coverall pads and is supplied complete with roller stands to aid movement of the trampoline when it is folded. An extra wide 'coaching sides' frame is also available. For rebound therapy we recommend our PowerMesh bed. Exclusively made by Gym-Tech, The PowerMesh bed has slightly less bounce than traditional webbed trampoline beds, giving more control to the user and those giving assistance. Unlike webbed beds the Powermesh bed is made from a tightly woven material to ensure there are no gaps for fingers or toes to be caught in. The bed is also washable, and canbe cleaned in situe, whereas webbed beds have to be removed to be cleaned. 25mm, 13mm or 6mm webbed beds are also available if preffered. Optional EasyLift roller stands or a trolley lifter are available to further aid manual handling of the trampoline. Junior Trampoline The Junior is exclusively manufactured by Gym-Tech, and is the only trampoline available in this size - slightly larger than the Grasshopper model but smaller than the 77A. The Junior is ideally suited for rebound therapy or physiotherapy. Its size makes it suitable for children or more restricted users. It has an 865mm high 'Flashfold' folding steel frame, elastic or steel springs, foam filled pvc coverall pads and is supplied complete with roller stands to aid movement of the trampoline when it is folded. The Junior has a choice of solid nylon or PowerMesh beds, both of which offer good control, plus the PowerMesh bed has the added benefit of being washable. The Junior can also be fitted with a more responsive 25mm webbed bed, which offers more 'bounce'.

Soft Steps Soft steps for access to & from the trampoline, specially designed for rebound therapy. The steps comprise a reinforced foam inner with a washable pvc cover and have deep tread & low rise steps to allow the user to safely & comfortably access the trampoline, with the help of an instructor if required. The step area & sides are available in contrasting colours to clearly define them, with a choice of blue, red or yellow colour combinations. The steps attach to the frame of the trampoline with two velcro fastenings, ensuring a secure link but also making the steps easy to remove. The steps also have two handles on either side to aid lifting & moving, and can be stored upright to reduce the amount of storage space required. Wheelaway Padded Steps Steel framed steps with padded tops & a handrail for access to & from the trampoline. The steps also have wheels fitted to aid movement. The frame is powder coated steel and features a handrail which can be fitted to either side to assist the user. An optional second handrail is also available. The four steps are in red & blue contrasting colours to increase visibility. One end of the frame is fitted with a pair of wheels, the frame can then be tilted onto the wheels and rolled away for storage when not in use. Mobile Hoist
Electronic mobile hoist which can be used to lift a person on & off a trampoline, making it ideal for rebound therapy or physiotherapy use.
The Victor 2600 hoist is versatile & reliable with a good lifting range, and can also be used in conjunction with a multi harness to assist in standing & walking. It will lift a person up to 2m (6'6") tall into a standing position and has a weight limit of up to 225kg (35st).
The Victor hoist is constructed from aluminium, making it lightweight & durable. Removable, heavy duty batteries increase autonomy.
Can be used with two or four point spreader bar (supplied seperately).

Safety Mats We supply a full range of mats which can be placed around the trampoline, or used by an instructor to help prevent injuries. Surround mats are placed on the floor around the trampoline to reduce the risk of injury should the user fall from the trampoline. Spotting end decks & mats can be placed at each end of the trampoline to reduce the risk of the user falling off at either end. Push on & spotter mats are held by an instructor, and pushed onto the trampoline if the user is about to fall, cushioning the fall and helping to prevent injury.
